Nice little hotel. Standard travel Lodge. Cozy clean rooms with instant access to a great pub/restaurant. Subway/fuel. Burger King and a Starbucks.
This travelodge is like mosy you'll expect. Just disappointed they don't do food. However, the pub across the road easuly solves this.

Great place to eat , excellent value and wonderful staff. Two meals for £12 , good value and at this price it saves cooking twice a week. Excellent. Been numerous time since June 2017 , and never been disappointed. Nice atmosphere and looking forward to going to a Comedy show at dome stage.
Went for the weekly pub quiz, prices are above average £3.50 for a pint. The quiz is always a good laugh, ran out of chairs because there was so many people. I've been told the food is good, always smells nice. Beer garden is nice and quaint, there are heaters outside but the metal chairs aren't very comfy. Seating inside is comfy though. The live music on a Friday is usually good, can get crowded though as it's so popular. Overall a very nice place to go for a drink and a good location in the middle of the town centre.

Wonderful food and service. The staff and manager can't do enough to keep their patrons content. Would highly recommend. Very much look forward to coming back soon.
Best fireplace in town. Friendly attentive staff. Food was good although portions a little small. Great wine list.

One of the best pubs in Shrewsbury. You can't go wrong if you're looking for a decent pint. Always a great selection of proper real ales and good food too. Keeps traditional pub opening hours 👍
Old pub in central part of town. First ever to go smoke free in Shropshire. Friendly staff good drinks.

Nice pub. Nice range of real ale. Nice building. Nice interior. Nice bar area. Friendly staff. Great stairs. Big on medium priced pub food and large seating area at back concentrating on food clientele. Basic and not that sweet smelling toilets.
A lovely cosy pub. Food on the main menu was slightly too fancy for us but we opted for a lovely sandwich with chips, home made coleslaw and salad for £6 each - really good value we felt! Just off the main area of the town, a little hidden out of the way if not familiar with the area (we were just visiting!), we parked nearby and walked just up the road. Cheap drinks too which are always welcomed by us Southerners! Nice place. Efficient service for colder food but were warned there would be a longer wait for a hot dinner.

We had an absolutely lovely experience staying at this B&B. Dawn went out of her way to look after us from helping us with ironing to going so far as to post back our pyjamas! That was most unexpected and extremely kind. The rooms and bed were very nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable! Breakfast was outstanding! 5 star treatment! . I would highly recommend staying here. Lizzie and Richard Phoenix

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
Acorn Cottage, Red Barn Ln, Shrewsbury SY3 7HR, UK – 07913 387531
Perfect holiday retreat within walking distance of Shrewsbury town centre. All furniture and fittings are top specification affording every comfort a couple could wish for. Intend to return in the future.
What a tranquil place to stay. The cottage is only a short walk to the town centre but even locals would not know it was there. All the amenities you would expect of a holiday cottage are available. Jon and Sue are excellent hosts and they will make sure your stay is perfect as they did for us. Shrewsbury is a fascinating place to explore with many medieval buildings and narrow passages. Pubs ( easy walking) and food outlets galore.

Fantastic place real home from home and excellent value xx
My girlfriend and i had a fantastic stay in this lovely cottage in the centre of shrewsbury. It was immaculately clean and had lots of extra little touches which you would not ordinarily expect from self-catered accommodation. The fresh milk and biscuits on arrival were a lovely surprise, especially after our long drive. I would highly recommend this gorgeous little cottage to anybody thinking of a trip to shrewsbury; its location, style and amenities are second to none, contributing to an absolutely fabulous stay in shrewsbury.
