Visited Cineworld at Shrewsbury on a very snowy afternoon Wednesday 28 February 2018 to see 'Finding your feet' in cinema 8. Very impressed with the pricing as our son got his student discount and we got senior citizens discount because we are just over sixty! Free car parking by the cinema meant that it was easy to get into the Cinema without getting drowned in snow! We found the issuing of specific seats interesting but then on arriving 15 minutes before the start, in a semi dark cinema nearly impossible to read the low silver signs indicating the row letters . Every single set of customers had exactly same problem!
Been a while since I visited a cinema. I was blown away by a recent afternoon experience to Telford complex. Cinemas have come a long way - for the good.

Great cinema venue...as most tickets are only £8. You can get discounts for various concession groups too. Book early ( best to go on their website) as tickets sell out very quickly and it only has a small capacity. Cafe staff are lovely...so friendly and cheerful. Can take in the drinks, cakes etc you buy. Disabled toilet and lift to first floor.( where everything is!)
Simply delightful, a small and intimate cinema situated on the top floor of this historic landmark. Comfortable seating & great sound too make the Old Market Hall a credit to Shrewsbury, a lovely little venue which even includes it's own cosy lounge area (reasonably priced!) where you can relax & grab a snack or beverage (inc Alcohol) prior to entry in to the theatre. You are even allowed to take your food drinks in the theatre with you. It's so refreshing to see the building being put to such good community use. A job well done.

Came to watch/listen to Brain Blessed, our first time here! What an epic night... Fab theatre & seating (stalls) was excellent too, plenty of leg room... All staff were friendly, helpful & actually looked happy.... We were made up & will definitely return... Everywhere was clean & tidy with a friendly atmosphere WELL DONE!! Lifts too 😁😁
Son of a Preacher Man - cast mainly young and multi talented. 4 main players ladies good Michelle Gayle brilliant pure voice. Men- Preachers son good singing voice and acting fine Gay character not suitable for this role more Led Mis / Phantom of the opera/classic roles with his voice. Overall it will not be a success. Theatre is brilliant as usual and good for them to have diverse entertainment showing.

I've had the pleasure of seeing fantastic poets Luke Wright and John Cooper Clarke here, as well as the musical talent of Louis Gordon. Most recently, Playhouse Creatures. Great venue for most excellent nights out in Shrewsbury.
Great theatre. Fantastic show. Wine very expensive in the bar though.
